T.V. Doctor's Rxs For Women!

                               Dr. Oz's  Tips For Women!

If you're still watching Dr. Oz, good for you. It's been on for 7 yrs. now, so
the audience numbers may not be the same as they were in the first 2 or 3 yrs.
And if you watched the show on Friday, then you know the good doctor
talked about tart cherry juice and facial hair.

And if you're wondering, cherry juice and facial hair, how or what can I learn
about either of these things from Dr. Oz?
Well, first up- the tart cherry juice.
Singer Kellie Pickler  mentioned on Ellen that she suffers from insomnia.
And a great way to end insomnia- tart cherry juice. Pour a few Tbs. into a
glass of water an hour before bedtime and sleep through the night.
Another benefit of tart cherry juice- It helps ends the frequent trips to the
bathroom. (great for men)

Now on to the facial hair.
Make sure you talk to your doctor to make sure you're not suffering from something

serious, but to get rid of the hair, right now- drink spearmint tea.
That's right- a few cups a day (hold the sugar and danish) will help you shed the facial hair.
Why Spearmint tea?

It lowers testosterone levels in your system and the lower the testosterone,
the less facial hair you produce. And yes, testosterone is a male hormone,
and if you're seeing more facial hair, that's the reason.
There you have, two tips from the still entertaining and educational
Dr. Oz.

And one more tip- if you want more tips on ways to end insomnia, head on over to
Amazon.com/the kindle store and type The 99 Best Natural Remedies
To End Insomnia. Get 8 Hours of Sleep Every Night.

Good Luck!

And if you plan on celebrating this New Year's Eve, why not
have the drink that comes from the place that produced the one and only

The place: Puerto Rico, more specifically: San Juan Puerto Rico.
Although we're not sure if J Lo has ever lived in Puerto Rico,
we are sure that this drink comes from there.
The Drink...The Coco Loco!
A creamy and delicious, rum-spiked cocktail and you can get it from
the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa located in Puerto Rico.

In less than 3 weeks you'll be able to see Nicki Minaj as
a judge on American Idol. Ms. Minaj was recently asked
what her favorite snack food is, her answer-Olives!
Not potato chips, Hershey's kisses or Oreo cookies, but Olives.

Ms. Minaj also said that she should give them up due to the
acidity and salt and the effects on her throat, but she was wrong.

That's right- don't do it Nicki.
Olives are usually thought of as foods to put on  salads,

grinders or pizza, but they offer a number of health benefits, like...
a) Reduce Inflammation-
Harmful inflammation that attaches to arteries. and shortens your life.
If heart disease is a concern, reduce those concerns with a few olives a day.
b) Improve Memory-
See tip a, olives reduce inflammation, especially the inflammation around your brain.
So less inflammation means a better memory.
c) Reduce some cancers.
d) Control Appetite-
Appetite out of control? Reduce it with a few olives.
e) Reduce Nausea-
Are you pregnant like Kim K. Jessica Simpson, or Princess Kate?
If you are and have nausea, eat a few olives and return to feeling normal.
f) Natural Facelift-
You may have heard about olive oil as a moisturizer, but how do you get olive
oil? From olives, Eat a few every day and have the smooth and youthful skin
of someone like-Nicki Minaj.

So, there you have some of the health benefits of olives,
a food Nicki Minaj is seriously thinking about giving up.
After learning about some of the benefits, perhaps Ms. Minaj will

have a change of heart.
And lastly, a tip for Ms. Minaj...Just rinse them off, if salt and the vinegar
are a concern.

Good Luck!

American Idol's Rx For Becoming A Songwriter!

                           Make Money With A Song!

American Idol will be starting a new season in about 6 weeks.
The new judges will be Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban.
If you're really a fan of the show, then you must remember the judge
named Kara DioGuardi.
People were a little upset when she was chosen, but she had years of
experience, mainly as a songwriter.

And today, Ms. DioGuardi wants women and men to know that
singers can make it big and get rich, but they rarely write
their own songs, and she wants to help you in that regard.

That's right- Ms. DioGuardi is giving out advice to future songwriters,
in the hopes that you can write songs  and make money.
Listed below, are some of her best tips to make it as a songwriter.
a) Get Deep!
Simply put, personalize the song. Ms. DioGuardi says that a song that
speaks to her, about relationships or friendships are the ones that'll
get played over and over and be remembered for yrs. after they leave
the radio playlist.
b) Add Something Different-
Ms. DioGuardi says that songs like "Grenade" by Bruno Mars
or "Firework" by Katy Perry" have been well received because
they tackle common themes (love and empowerment) in a way
no one's ever heard before.  So, make sure the songs are universal
and one of a kind.
c) Grab Them In The Beginning-
Simply put, make it so catchy right from the beginning, people
want to listen to the rest of the song. Start with strong lyrics and
avoid waiting to long to get to your chorus. Kara says that the beginning

is what people remember-so get to them early.

That's it- Some great tips for the people who usually don't receive too

much recognition. And if you're really serious about songwriting...
go to these sites and enter some songwriting contests.
The sites: ASCAP which stands for the American Society of Composers,
Authors and Publishers. ASCAP.com.
WeAreListening.com , MuseMuse.com/contests and Songwriting.net.

Good Luck!
