Ellen Degeneres' Rx To Prevent Diabetes!

                                 Ellen's Meatless Diet!

Ellen Degeneres makes no secret about her diet, she's a vegan.
Although that may be to extreme for a lot of people, just eating
more fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains can help you

avoid one of the most feared diseases out there.
The Disease: Diabetes!

Vegetarians are almost 2/3s less likely to develop metabolic syndrome,
what is it?
It's a cluster of 5 conditions-belly fat, low HDLs, poor sugar control,

high blood pressure and high triglycerides-that together increase
your risk of diabetes and heart disease.

So, if you're concerned about getting diabetes or even if you have it-
then maybe you should look into going vegetarian.
Another tip: Vegetarianism doesn't mean going crazy, crazy on
the carbs. Some people see the diet as a way to eat more bread,

rolls, pastries and potato dishes.
Too many carbs can also increase your risk for diabetes and heart disease.

Good Luck!
