Twilight's Rx To Prevent Heart Disease!

                                Be More Like Robert Pattison!

Robert Pattison one of the stars of The Twilight series revealed
on Ellen (the talk show) that he adopted a dog.
What's so unusual about that?
Well, it's not that unusual, given Mr. Pattisons' penchant for
saving money and his love of pets and if you love pets like Mr Pattison,
you can also boost your health. How?
Living with a pet can ease depression, which negatively affects heart rhythms,
cholesterol levels and blood pressure. And a pet from a pet store or a shelter
means you're less likely to suffer from a heart attack and if you do suffer
from one, you're five times more likely to recover and live a long life
thanks to the pet.

So, if you already love Robert Pattison, this news about his kindness to pets
will only help you love him even more.
And one more thing... Please make his movie No.1 this weekend,
the more money the movie makes, the more Mr. Pattison makes
and that means he may adopt another dog.

Good Luck!

Twilight's Rx To Lower A Female Cancer!

                   Drink Up For Better Health!

The latest installment of the "Twilight" series will happen
in a few weeks. If you plan on having a Twilight party
and want to serve a refreshing beverage, make the beverage a
Bloody Mary. Why a Bloody Mary?
Well, the name says it all- plus blood and vampires.

But there's another reason...what is it?
A Bloody Mary can help women, more specifically,
help them lower their rates of breast cancer.

Breast cancer? Yes, especially if you add some black pepper and
celery to it. Both foods destroy cancer cells, and leave the healthy cells
alone.

And if you're not sure how to make it, look below for the recipe.
A Bloody Mary:
Just mix 2 oz. of tomato juice, 2 oz. of vodka,
a pinch of celery salt, a pinch of black pepper,
and a twist of lemon in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a small
stick of celery and a cherry tomato on a toothpick.
This is one serving. If you need more, just double or triple
the tomato juice and vodka.

And if you want your teen or preteen to have some- to start them
on their way toward preventing breast cancer, leave out the alcohol.

That's it- A movie that's not only good, but good for your health as well.

Good Luck!

Twilight's Rx For More Happiness!

                             Boost Happiness Like Kristen!

We're sure most people out there have heard about the shocking news from
the two leads of the Twilight series.
You know, Actress Kristen Stewart has cheated on the supposed
"love of her life"-Robert Pattison.

And according to the latest news- Mr. Pattison has moved out of the mansion
they shared.
Ms. Stewart has written a heartfelt apology to Mr. Pattison, but the worse is
yet to come, the worse: Depression. It's inevitable, even to someone who's
thought to be cold and unfeeling.

If you  are going through something similar to Rob and Kristen
and you want to avoid the depression that's sure to follow,
eat more fish and avocados. Fish and avocados? Yup, fish like trout,
salmon, sardines, herring and avocados contain good fats and other
nutrients that lower your chances of becoming depressed by a whopping 45%.

But there's a catch, the catch: you can't deep fry the fish, or add
fries, a sweet beverage or unlimited chips (to the avocados) or you'll
undo the health benefits of the fish and avocados and end up more depressed.

So, today's lesson- to avoid the blue moods and heartache of a breakup,
load up on avocados and fish.

Good Luck!

Twilight's Rx For Making New Friends!

                       Making Friends Like Kristen!

Kristen Stewart-the star of Twilight movie series, just revealed in
her latest interview-that she's lonely and friendless.
A lot of people out there aren't going to feel sorry for someone who
is worth millions of dollars.
But, what if you're in the same situation as Ms. Stewart and you
don't have millions in the bank?
Well, look below and learn some tips that'll help you make new friends
easily.
The Friendship Rxs:
a) Get A Pet-
A cute dog attracts attention, and if you have a dog take him or her to
the dog park and strike up a conversation with a fellow dog owner.
And for those of you out there that don't own pets, maybe you can adopt
a pet or if you're elderly parent or neighbor has a dog that needs walking,
volunteer to do it.
b) Volunteer-
Go to the animal shelter, woman's shelter or an elderly center.
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
c) Hit The "Hot Spots"-
For women going to nail and hair salons, book clubs or exercise classes
and men-it's hardware stores, (Home Depot) gyms, or sporting events.
When you do something for yourself like going to a new exercise class
or hair salon, you get to ask questions or engage in conversation that may
lead to friendship.
d) Use the Web-
This may be hard for Ms. Stewart, but for the rest of us, connecting
with people who have similar interests may help develop new friendships.
Look for the new site-Nextdoor.com. Learn about people who live near
you and enter your address as well.
e) Make A Google Map-
Of your town, then pick a spot or two you've never visited, like a yoga
studio or a new eatery in your town. This is like a scavenger hunt-
a scavenger hunt for friends.
f) Speak Up-
According to some, Ms. Stewart isn't that talkative or outgoing
when she's around others and that in itself is a problem.
So, if being shy or quiet around others, you may need to break out
of it. Ask coworkers about their hobbies, kids or favorite foods or web sites.
Another tip: Give more compliments, praising someone's style of clothing,
hair or work habits is a great way to break the ice and develop friendships.
And if compliments are hard for you, offer something cupcakes or bring
in a magazine or recipe you read about. Giving someone a small token
triggers the "reciprocity effect" making him or her want to do something nice
for you in return.
That's it- some simple tips for a big star like Kristen Stewart or you-"Average
Jane!" And if don't think friends are important- new research says that
just 10 mins. of a good conversation with friends a few times a week,
cuts stress, boost immune levels and gives you more confidence.

Good Luck!
