Country Star's Rx For Eating Sweet Treats!

                          Snack Like Reba!

Reba McEntire is still going strong, she's a few yrs. from 60 and she just released
her 27th album.
And if you're wondering how she manages to stay so slim and youthful looking,
she made a diet change about a decade ago that's now becoming commonplace
in Hollywood and throughout the U.S.

What did Ms. Reba do?
She eats mostly fruit, vegetables, lean meats, fish and good fats.
Yes, it's similar to the  Paleo diet.
And if you're wondering where are the carbs, Ms. Reba doesn't deprive herself,
she just makes sure she only eats a small amount on the weekends and holidays.
And her one food vice: Sweets.

Ms. McEntire considers herself a "Sweet Junkie" so she has to be careful,

her solution: She only eats a bite or two of say- a cookie, a slice of pie or cake.
Balance is the key that works best for her, not going to extremes or cutting out
her favorites entirely.

So, if you're like Ms. Reba and are struggling with a sweet tooth or a
carb addiction, do like Ms. Reba and eat them on the weekends

and only eat a small portion.
And if you want more tips on how Reba stays positive, fights aches and
pains, and uses only low-cost makeup, go to your local supermarket or
drugstore and pick up the magazine--First For Women. She's on the cover.

Good Luck!

A Television Star's Rx To Prevent Winter Weight Gain!

Don't Gain Weight This Holiday Season!

Are you a fan of the hit ABC show--"Nashville?"
Well, there are a lot of fans and one of the reasons for the
shows' success has to be Connie Britton.
And although she's been around for almost 2 decades now,
she still  doesn't get the accolades or applause for her acting ability
or her incredible good looks.

But that's okay, she continues to get work and to stay at the top
of her game- (in the looks department)
And to keep those god looks, Ms. Britton uses a drink to help
her achieve that goal.

What type of drink?
A drink made with water, lemon slices, a packet of Emergen-C Lite
and probiotic powder.
She has this most mornings and the combination of ingredients
helps boost immunity (to fend off colds), eases bloat and revs up
the metabolism.
And if you're in good health and want a boost like Ms. Britton,
take this drink first thing in the morning as well.
Look for Emergen-C Lite at drug stores and Ultra Probiotic
Complex online at GNC.com. ($ 35 for 25 packets).

And for all of you out there who indulge with an adult beverage or two
this time of year, head online to Amazon.com/the kindle store and
download, see title to the right. Type the title in the search bar

and download a copy for yourself or a loved one.
It explains what your fellow Americans are drinking in their neck of the woods,
plus, it gives you the recipes for those drinks, so you too, can make them at home.

Good Luck!

Country Stars' Rx For A Stronger Body!

Eat This For An Unbreakable Body!

Are you a fan of country music?
How about a fan of Southern cooking?
Well, if you're a fan of Trisha Yearwood, Sara Evans,
Garth Brooks, Luke Bryant and Blake Shelton then you may
want to copy one of their food secrets.

A food secret from a country star?
Yes, believe it or not, one food that's extremely popular
in Southern cooking has been hailed as a hero to those
concerned about bone loss.

The food is so popular there's even a movie based on it.
The food, no it's not sweet potatoes or fried chicken,
can you guess?
Okay, enough with the suspense, it's "Green Tomatoes"
and researchers have been testing a number of foods
on thinning bones (osteoporosis) and green tomatoes
have come out on top. They're even more impressive
than onions, plums and beer (all help to stop bone loss).

And why green and not red tomatoes?
Fully ripe tomatoes offer some health benefits (natural sunscreen)
but not the benefits to keeping your bones strong.
So, if you're getting up there in age, or if you have a relative
that's broken a hip or wrist and it has you worried,
do like Trisha, Sara, Blake, Reba, Dolly and Luke and start
eating green tomatoes.

And one more thing, if calories and weight are a concern,
find ways to prepare the tomatoes without the flour and all of that
oil. Or just wait, some scientists are trying to make supplements out
of the same things you find in green tomatoes.

Good Luck!
