Hollywood's Veggie Rx For Revelers!

                          Eat This Before Drinking!

Hollywood loves a movie that involves drinking.
The Hangover, Leaving Las Vegas, Barfly, etc.
What Hollywood doesn't love or won't tell you

is what happens when you regular Joe or Main Street Sue
drinks too much?
Yes, we're talking about hangovers.

No, not getting over one, but what about avoiding the damn things in the first
place.

Well, despair no more, your prayers have been answered.
That's right, one of our most trusted and dogged researchers says that
if you eat some asparagus (an hour) before hitting the bar, it
will help you avoid the nausea, the stomach upset and the headaches.

Asparagus?

Yes, it contains vitamins, amino acids and minerals that whisk most of the alcohol
out of your system, before it does damage to your head, stomach and other
body parts.
And for those who can't stomach steamed (and lightly buttered) asparagus,

there's asparagus extract (available online or at health-food stores).
But there's a catch, the catch: you should start the extract some time

(like a week or two) before drinking.

Good Luck!

The Hangover's Rx For Hangovers!

Drink This To End A Hangover!

Are you a fan of the movie-"The Hangover?"
You remember,  4 buddies travel to Las Vegas to attend a
friend's upcoming marriage, but prior to the wedding they
have a bachelor party, drink to excess, and the next morning,
they have the mother of all hangovers.

If you plan on attending a Christmas or New Year's Eve
party, drink more than you should and then have a hangover
that makes you feel like your life is about the end, try the new
beverage cure that's winning raves.

We're sure a lot of you out there already have a top-notch
remedy for ending the headaches, the bodyaches and the queasiness,
but give this a try and see if works better than your own natural cure.

So, what's the beverage cure that'll have you feeling better than you
felt before drinking?

It's Sprite!
Sprite the soda? Yes, sipping a glass of the lemon-lime combo,

the morning after is going to be your new go-to Rx to end that
dreaded hangover.

Scientists tested almost 2 dozen beverages (coffee, Gatorade,
green tea) but it was the Sprite that came out on top.
The researchers think it's the sugar in the Sprite that helps your body

process alcohol more efficiently, so you feel better faster.

That's it- a new go-to cure for the day after you overindulge.
And if you're concerned about weight, the researchers didn't
test sugar-free Sprite. But, if you want to try it, go ahead and
see if it works like regular Sprite.

Good Luck!

Bethenny's Rx For Cleaning Up!

                     Clean Up Like Bethenny!
Bethenny Frankel star of a few reality shows is becoming more well

know for her business ventures. You know- her line of "Skinny Girl
Drinks!" Research has said that one alcoholic beverage is quite fine,
but no more than that. If you make your own drinks at home then
you're like most people-you hate to clean up.

Cleaning a blender, mixer or juicer is boring and sometimes
time consuming, so most people leave it on the counter or in
the cupboard.
But thanks to this easy cleanup tip, you'll be making smoothies,
skinny girl drinks, purees and healthy juices all of the time.

The cleanup tip: Fill your blender  1/4 full with warm water, (not hot)
a 1/4 tsp. of dish detergent and 4 ice cubes, place the lid on and
turn it on blend. Do this for a min. The ice will scour the blades and
force soapy water into every nook and cranny of the blender, leaving
you with a cleaner blender, and all that's left for you to do-is sit back
and enjoy your drink.

Good Luck!
