A Simple Rx For Music Lovers!

                              Get Rid Of Earworms!

What are "Earworms" you ask?
You know,  a song that plays non-stop in your head.
And if you plan on getting some Christmas shopping done today,
you're probably gonna get an earworm or two.
And how do you stop the song "Hello" or "I Can't
Feel My Face" out of your head?

Stick a piece of gum in your mouth.

Gum?
Yes, that's right, scientists tried a number of things and then settled on
gum as the best way to get Adele out of your head.

The scientists say that gum chewing activates your brain in a way that's
similar to talking to yourself.
And because of that, it shifts your focus and allows your mind to move past
the non-stop song and back into the present moment.

So remember, if you plan on hitting a mall or staying home to clean,
chew some gum and you'll be able to say Goodbye to Hello.

Good Luck!

Barry Manilow's Rx To Lower Blood Pressure!

Easy Listening Music For Better Health!

Barry Manilow, Olivia Newton-John and Neil Diamond have millions of

loyal fans, who've been loyal fans for decades.
And they also have haters. People who claim the music should only be
played in elevators, it's the type of music meant to help you get to
sleep, essentially-"easy listening."
Well, according to new research, that "easy listening" music
can help lower blood pressure.

Gentle and pleasant styles of music can affect the part of the nervous
system that controls heart rhythm and lower your blood pressure.
And if you're a fan of Metallica, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath
or KISS and wondering if it does anything to your blood pressure,

it does.

Loud, head banging and intense music can increase blood-vessel constriction,

which raises blood pressure.
So, next time you're listening to Barry Manilow or Neil Diamond,
and someone makes fun of you, just tell them-

"Make fun of me all you want, I'm lowering my blood pressure."

Good Luck!
