Look Ten Yrs. Younger Haircare Tips Pt. 2!

More Haircare Tips To Turn Back The Clock!

As promised, here's the second part of the haircare tips that'll fool
your friends and family into thinking you had some cosmetic surgery done.
a) Trim Hair For Youthful Skin-
If the ends of your hair looked ragged, it can actually make your skin
look dried out. To prevent this and get that youthful glow back...
trim your ends every 6 to 8 wks.
b) Cover Up The Grays-
If you're gray or going gray and you feel okay with it,
avoid reading the rest of this tip. But, if you're not okay with
it, look for the new foams that are on the market.
Gray may help you look distinguished, it can also age you.
So, to help turn back the clock, look for new coloring foams
like John Frieda Precision Foam Hair Color, price $15.
Another tip: you may want to go a shade lighter, doing this
gives the hint that you had your hair highlighted.
c) Shinier Hair-
With a glaze. Get that youthful, glossy hair back with a glaze.
Look for a glaze like Alterna Caviar Anti-aging 3 minute shine boost. Price-$25.
Or Aveeno Active Naturals Living Color Color Preserving Shine
Glaze, price- $8. Available online at Sephora.com
d) Get Rid Of The Flaws-
Body, waves and curls make your hair look thicker. That extra volume
also distracts attention from any facial problems you may have.
If your hair is naturally curly, define the texture with a curl cream
or gel. If your hair is naturally straight, try misting in a wave spray,
then gently scrunching as blow-dry with a diffuser.
e) A Beer For Your Hair-
That's right, need more bulk and volume in your hair,
head to your fridge and grab a beer. Not to drink, but to
rinse your hair out. Beer is loaded with proteins that can give
hair a thicker look. After shampooing, pour 1 cup of a Flat beer through
your hair. Leave on 15 to 20 mins. then rinse your hair with water.

Good Luck!

Hollywood's Rx For Growing Your Hair!

Grow Your Hair Like A Star!

Ever marvel at a star and her beautiful locks?
You ask- "is it real or is it extensions, a weave or extra
hair sewn in?"
Well, stop envying your favorite star for her gorgeous locks
and start growing your own hair with these tips.

The hair growing tips:
a) For Fine Hair-
Moisturize the ends, this is where the growth comes from.
Use a leave-in conditioner (such as Garnier Fructis Leave-in
Conditioner) available at drugstores.
b) For Thick Hair-
Use a fast-absorbing oil (like Carol's Daughter Khoret
Amen Hair Oil) find it online at Sephora.com.
Apply it right before bed to dry hair. That hydration
from the oil will prevent split ends that can slow down hair
growth. Another tip: When you have your hair cut,
ask for a "dusting." It's a term used to snip off the very tips of your
hair, so you don't lose a lot of length.

That's it- another tip to save you money and help you look your
best.

Good Luck!

Hair Care Rx From A Hollywood Stylist!

                    Taking Care Of Your Hair!

Are you a frequent user of hot tools (combs) on your hair?
If you are, you may causing damage to your roots.
Most people (women) start blow drying right after a shower or
washing it at the sink.
Big mistake.

According to a top Hollywood stylist you should
wait a few minutes and then dry your hair.
Waiting a few minutes means you can use a lower setting on your blow
dryer and the lower setting means less damage to your hair.

Good Luck!

Kim K's Rx For Dandruff-Free Hair!

                            Get Rid Of The Dandruff!

On a past show of the "Kardashians" Kim complained about wearing a certain
color blouse, her complaint- it would show off her dandruff.

Kim K. like a lot of folks has dandruff, and the reasons for it are numerous.
One such reason may be she's not getting enough essential fatty acids in her

diet.

And why are they (E.F.A.) necessary?
They help support normal biological functions, prevent certain diseases and
may even help you overcome certain diseases.
But, as for your own beauty- they help moisturize your skin.
And as you get older, getting that moisture becomes harder and harder.

So, are you seeing more dandruff?
If so, make sure to get more fatty acids and you can start by adding more flaxseed
oil to your meals or taking a tbsp. or two per day.
Flaxseed oil is one of the most concentrated sources of alpha-linolenic and when
eaten, it can help you get rid of those embarrassing white flakes.

Also helpful- walnut, coconut and olive oil.
And one more thing: Eliminating or eating rarely (very rarely) junk food
can also keep you "dandruff-free." Junk food may taste great, but it does
little to help moisturize your insides. And Kim K does admit to eating certain
foods that may be contributing to her ongoing battle with dandruff.

There you have it, another tip that can help you look your most beautiful,
whether you're from Hollywood Calif, London England or Wichita Kansas.

Good Luck!

Housewives of Beverly Hills Rx For Thinning Hair!

                       Get Gorgeous Hair Like Kyle!
Kyle Richards lives a charmed life: a home in Beverly Hills,
a hot husband, an incredible social life, great kids and a
beautiful head of hair.
We can't tell you how to get a house in Beverly Hills, a hot husband or

well-behaved kids, but we can tell you how to prevent your hair from
thinning out.
The 4 Natural Rxs For Great Hair:
a) Green Tea-
That's right, the stuff that helps with belly fat and preventing certain cancers
can actually help your hair grow.
Compounds in the tea increase the production of hair follicles cells that play
a key role in growth.
The amount needed for hair growth? About 2 to 3 cups a day,
and make it regular, no decaf.
b) Biotin-
A member of the B-complex vitamin family,  biotin plays a role in the formation
of hair shafts, increasing root strength and speeding hair growth.
You may have to take biotin for a few months to see results.

Best type to take: PhytoPhaarmica Biotin Forte 3 mg. with zinc, find it at
Drugstore.com. Price-$8 for 60 tablets.
c) Shampoo-
Wash your hair with a shampoo that contains hyaluronic acid.
What is hyaluronic acid? It's a natural lubricating substance
that coats and penetrates hair follicles, fortifying
the hair strands and stimulates growth by drawing in water
and nutrients. Use it for 60 days and you notice less hair shedding.
Look for the best shampoo at Hyalogic.com, the brand-Episilk
shampoo or John Masters Organics Evening Primrose Shampoo,
at JohnMasters.com Price-$16 for 8 oz.
d) Eating Too Little-
And not getting the right nutrients. You may think eating less than 1,000 calories,
is going to help you lose weight more quickly. But it's your hair that really suffers.
And cutting back on or cutting out meat entirely can severly affect your hair.
Going too low in calories can shock the hair follicles, and a low calorie

count means your hair isn't getting what it needs to grow.
Simple solution: Bump up your calorie count to a minimum 1,300 calories
a day, eat a variety of foods, and make sure your getting enough iron and zinc.
Women lose iron through menstraution and zinc by cutting back on, or cutting
out meat. So, you may need a multi-mineral vit.  with iron and zinc included.

That's It- Hope these tips help, some people who changed their diets
to lean meats, (grass-fed and range-free),fatty fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts,
seeds, whole grains and monounsaturated fats (olive and coconut Oils)
say- "not only have we changed our bodies, but our hair has gotten
thicker and more luxurious."

Good Luck!
