Selena Gomez's Snack Rx For Better Moods!

Selena Gomez, the popular Disney star, songstress,
and budding movie star needs something to cheer her up.
her romance to first love Justin Bieber is over and her movie "Spring
Break" didn't do well.
And with 2 life changing events like these, it's easy to understand
if a person becomes blue or down in the dumps.

But not Selena, she recently told a T.V. interviewer that she
loves to head back to Texas and indulge in her favorite treat, what is it?
Guacamole. Not surprising, it's the preferred snack food for a lot of people. 

And it may be the reason why Ms. Gomez is able to bounce back after
2 setbacks.
According to researchers, eating 1/2 of an avocado a day helps the brain make 

more mood-elevating dopamine, and that translates into a 25% decrease in blue
moods.

So, do you need a boost in moods? Are you ready to add more avocadoes
to your diet? Well, if you are, add a few slices to sandwiches or burgers,
or add to salad greens, or puree them and add them to soups, stews
or chili dishes. Use cut up fresh vegetables to dip (to save calories)
and avoid the chips.

And for those who need an alternative to ice cream...
try this- peel a ripe avocado, rinse it with water, dry it, and then place 

it in the blender. Add some cocoa powder, (1 tbsp.) a banana, a dash
of vanilla extract, a banana and a few ice cubes.
Blend until smooth, eat as is or place it in a plastic container and
store in the freezer for 30 to 60 mins.
That's it- a natural Rx for the lactose-intolerant.
