The Television Rx For Helping Kids Learn!

                           More T.V. For Better Grades!

Are you the type that wants your kids to watch less T.V.?
Or are you the type that says your grades will suffer as a result
of watching T.V.?

Well, The suits who run Hollywood don't really care one way or the
other, they just want you and your kids watching more of it
and if you're the type who is worried about their grades suffering,
you can do this.
What is it?
Turn on the Close- Captioning.

Yes, you're reading it right, reading to kids was and will always be
a staple in a lot of homes, but new research says that turning on
the close-- captioning is equal to pureeing vegetables and sneaking
them into your kids' diet.
This is a great way to get kids to learn while watching T.V. and one more
thing...Kids don't even have to read along to benefit. Seeing the written words
on the screen subconsciously foster's a more positive attitude toward reading.
So, next time The Wiggles come on, turn off the sound and let your
kids read and sing along.

Good Luck!
