Living till 100, what does it take?
A good diet, good genes, or a serious exercise
regimen. It probably requires all of the above, and
then there are some things other than diet, exercise
or good genetics.

What is it?
Keeping some extra weight. Looking like Kim K,
and not Keira Knightley will add some 10 extra yrs.
to your life. People who carry 10 to 20 extra pounds
at middle age live about 7 yrs. longer than their thinner
sisters. Why is this so? A little extra padding bolsters
your immune system, making it easier to fend off illnesses.

Another plus...the extra weight around your thighs and
buttocks help you in the event of a fall, which means it'll
be harder to break a hip or your tailbone.

So, if you've been obsessing over those last 10 or 20 lbs.
stop worrying- they (the pounds) may help you live a little longer.
