Carrie Underwood's Rx For Beating Pain!

Carrie Underwood-the best selling country star makes no secret
about being a vegetarian. It's not that unusual in Hollywood,
but country music loving Nashville, where everything is beef, ribs and chickens.

Another secret about Ms. Underwood that many people don't know about
is her love of a sport that doesn't get much respect.
What sport is that? Bowling!

Although it's not thought of as a sport that can boost health, thanks to
throwing a ball, then sitting for a few mins. and drinking and eating
while you wait some more.
But, hold on, bowling can improve your health like walking or biking, how? 

By helping you stay pain-free.

That's right- lacing up those shoes and throwing a 8, 10 or
16 pound ball down the lane for 30 mins. once or twice a week,
stretches your muscles enough to maintain flexibility, ease painful
joints and reduce daily muscle stiffness,
And each time you bowl, your body releases enough "happy"
brain chemicals-like dopamine and serotonin- 2 chemicals
that quash any muscle pain you you may feel for an hour or two later.

And lastly, researchers also think the friendships you develop with those
at the bowling lanes may help you forget about your aches and pains as well.
So, if you like Carrie and want to be more like her, you may want to take
up the sport of bowling, just make sure to go easy on the wings, hot dogs and
brewskis.
 And for those unable to get to a bowling alley, Wii bowling is also effective.
