A Male Star's Rx For A Beautiful Smile!

                     A Smoothie For Your Teeth!

With all of the talk being focused on youthful bodies and faces, there's
another part of the body a number of stars have to be concerned with,
what part of the body is that?
The teeth and gums.
And if you're a star in Hollywood or just a working mom from Bristol Tennessee,
keeping your teeth and gums in tiptop shape means not only looking more
appealing, it can also help you live an extra 7 to 10 yrs. longer.
Yes, 7 to 10 yrs. longer. New research says that a number of viruses (germs)
can enter through broken teeth or tears in the gums and that jump start
heart disease and other diseases, all of which can shorten your life by a
few months or years.

So, now that you have a little more info about keeping your teeth and gums
in great shape, it's time to learn about a beverage that can do just that.
The beverage is a smoothie and it's no secret that soccer and commercial
star David Beckham has a smoothie almost every day of the week,
and if you don't want your teeth to "bend like Beckham's" make

and drink the following smoothie....

The smoothie:
A Spiced Cranberry Smoothie!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup pure cranberry juice (remember no sugar added)
2 canned pear halves,
2 Tbs of the pear juice
2 large Medjool dates, pitted*
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. freshly grated orange zest (the peel)
1/2 tsp. chia seeds
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Ice
--------------------------------------
Directions:

Place all of the ingredients into a blender, everything except the Ice.
Blend until smooth. Add the ice and blend again, pour into a tall glass
or 2 smaller glasses and enjoy.
* Look for Medjool dates at health food store or a specialty food shop.
 Or just use regular dates.
Benefits of The Ingredients:

Cranberries-
With Thanksgiving a few wks, away, make sure to stock up on fresh cranberries
as they're one of the best foods to help keep teeth and gums in tiptop shape.
The compounds in in cranberries prevent plaque buildup.
The pears--the high fiber and enzymes in the Fall food keep bacteria
from invading and sticking to your teeth and gums.

And lastly, the chia seeds- rich in calcium, a mineral that helps keep teeth
in their sockets.

And one last tip:
