The Friend's Rx For a Happier Thanksgiving!

                         More Friends Equal Better Moods!

Were you a fan of the series--"Friends?"
Well, luckily you can watch it today one, two or three times
a day, depending on what city or town you're in.

And with Thanksgiving fast approaching, it may be a good idea
to surround yourself with good friends or family,
Why? According to new research, spending more time with upbeat
family members or good friends may keep you out of the Psych ward.

That's right- Spending time with people who are upbeat and positive
may be more effective than antidepressants or talk therapy.
When one becomes depressed, they usually withdraw and stay away
from friends and family and now, doctors say this may be the wrong
decision.
So, if you're a little down and planned to stay away from friends
and family this year, perhaps attending the dinner may be all of the
therapy you need.

And lastly, if you're depressed, blue or feeling lonely and you feel
that you need more than friends and family to help you get through
the tough times, by all means-seek the help you need.
And if that means talk therapy or antidepressants, then do what you
feel is best for you.

Good Luck!

Rachael Ray's Rx For Boosting Women's Health!

                         Enjoy Your Lunch Like Rachael!

Rachael Ray like Jennifer Aniston have 2 things in common,

what are they?
Rachael is the name that both women have become highly recognized
for.
Rachael Ray is her real name and Jennifer played Rachael on

"Friends" and it made her a household name.
Now the other thing they have in their lunch choices.
You see, the whole time on Friends, Ms. Aniston had a salad,
and Rachael Ray just recently admitted she eats salad for
lunch everyday just like Ms. Aniston.
But, Ms. Ray puts something in her salad that Jennifer Aniston
avoided. What is it?
Tuna!

That's right- Ms. Ray eats a salad with tuna 5 days a week,
and if you too, eat tuna once a week or 5 times a week, you're
doing great things for your health.

Things like...
* Keeping eyes healthy. The cool, dry weather and the endless hrs. in
front of a computer can cause eyes to become dry.

Foods with high omega-3 fatty acids like tuna, salmon, sardines and
walnuts can keep eyes lubricated.
And the 2nd tip...
* Keeping Breasts Healthy. With Oct. being breast cancer awareness month,
this tip is vital right now.
Cut breast cancer risk by 15% with a few servings of tuna each wk.
Tuna can also lower your risk of triple-negative breast cancer (the toughest
kind to treat). The oily fish forces abnormal cells to die before they can divide
and multiply.

So, if you want to be more like the 2 Rachaels, remember to eat more fish
and salad.
Also important: If you're concerned about the mercury levels in fish,
eat sardines (which have lower levels of mercury) or look for canned
fish at Trader Joe's. or add cilantro to your fish and salad dishes, the herb
helps remove harmful toxins from your system.
And if you want more tips on the foods that'll help you avoid breast cancer

Alec Baldwin's Rx For Younger Looking Skin!

                                  Look Younger With Yoga!

Alec Baldwin, the talented and tempermental star of "30 Rock" is
newly married. Newly married to a yoga instructor.

And lucky for Mr. Baldwin- not only will she help him stay strong,
flexible, but youthful as well.
Youthful? Yes, according to new research the one part of the body
that really shows early signs of aging can be helped with a yoga
move. What body part? The Neck!

If you read a post we did a few days back then you're well aware of
the problems many women (and some men) have with their necks.
In fact, Ellen D. just had Courtney Cox on and they were talking about
aging necks and hands.

Anyway, to keep your neck youthful, do the following...
Sit on a chair or the floor and look up at the ceiling, hold for a few seconds
and then release. Do it 2 mins. a day to smooth your neck and prevent
the dreaded double chin.
Also, reread our post on Courtney Cox, and use some of the
foods as skin tighteners and moisturizers tips to really keep

your neck looking young.

Important tip: If you're elderly or if you're not a regular exerciser,
it may be best if you skip this tip, the neck is very fragile and looking
up toward the ceiling may cause problems for some.

Good Luck!

                    Get Jennifer Aniston's Abs!
Jennifer Aniston was just filmed in a bikini. What's so special about that?
She just turned 43 a week ago, and her abs look like a 20 yr olds/
Yea, it may be liposuction, or eating only soup and salad or it may be
a pricey trainer who lives in her guest house.

Or it could be the "superfood" and  "superfruit/"
What is the "superfood" and "superfruit?"
Blueberries!
That's right- according to researchers at the Univ. of Michigan,
eating a low-fat diet with a bowl or two of blueberries, as a snack-
will help you lose abdominal fat quickly and effortlessly.

Why are blueberries so effective?
The antioxidants in blueberries alter how the body processes
sugar, the sugar that causes fat in the abdominal area.

So, if you're a fan of blueberies, head to your local supermarket,
or a big discount store (Costco or B.J's) and stock up on frozen
blueberries. Combine them with a low-fat diet and you too,
can have abs like Ms. Aniston.

Good Luck!

Jennifer Aniston's Rx To Maintain Weight!

Steal Jen's Secret For Good Health!
Jennifer Aniston has a birthday coming up this Saturday.
How old will she be? 43!

And how does she still look incredible for a middle-aged woman?
Yes, it's the million dollar salary and the amenities she can afford
with those millions, like... spa treatments, facials, workout trainers
and special meals delivered to her front door.

But, Ms. Aniston did something during her yrs. on the T.V. show
"Friends" that allows her to look and feel incredible.
What's the special thing she did while on "Friends?"
She ate a salad everyday for lunch.

That's right- 3 or more vegetables  a day, can boost your health in a
number of ways like...
1) Cancer Prevention-
Protect you from certain cancers. Especially breast cancer, if
you add broccoli, rosemary, turmeric and black pepper.
2) Slows Down The Aging Process-
Ms. Aniston must've heard about this long ago, because it's working.
Why is salad so beneficial to anti-aging? All of the antioxidants in
carrots, green peppers, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil and apple
cider vinegar protect your skin from the ravages of time.
3) Eye Protection-
Concerned about your eyes failing you in the future?
A salad made with peppers, boiled eggs (especially the yolks)
grape tomatoes, green squash and some salmon thrown in, can
keep your eyesight sharp for yrs. and yrs.
4) Weight Control-
Eating a salad a day has done wonders for Ms. Aniston weight.
Why a salad? The low-cal veggies, the antioxidants and filling you
up so you don't pig out on huge sandwiches and a platter of fries,
is reason enough to eat salad a few times a wk.

A word of warning: Don't add cheeses, ham, croutons, fatty dresssings
and bacon bits to your salad. These foods will not only cause weight gain,
but may cause other health problems as well. Stick to vegetables, eggs,
olive oil and apple cider or balsamic vinegar.

That's It- Jennifer Aniston's gift to you. Use it wisely!

Good Luck!
